Peppol in the UAE

The UAE e-invoicing system adopts the OpenPeppol framework to support interoperable electronic document exchange.

What is Peppol?

Peppol is an international framework for interoperable electronic document exchange. The UAE Ministry of Finance has based its e-invoicing system on OpenPeppol.

What does an ASP do?

An accredited service provider participates in the regulated e-invoicing exchange and reporting architecture. Businesses should select and onboard with an ASP according to the applicable UAE requirements.
